Hi friends! I started Confections by Christina Elizabeth in 2019, after years of friends & family looking to me to create desserts & cakes for special occasions. Little did I know that it would turn into a full-time job that I absolutely love!

-My background-

I started baking cakes in high school, & decided that I wanted to pursue culinary school. I completed a 2-year Baking & Pastry apprenticeship with WCCC at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, PA.

I then had the opportunity to work at the Rolling Rock Country Club in Laughlintown, PA for 7 years, where I was the Executive Pastry Chef. I was fortunate enough to work with a fantastic team that assisted me in everything from weddings, a la carte dinners, events, & baking anything you can think of.

I have also had the opportunity to work and help in small restaurants and cafes throughout the years, along with teaching baking classes at WCCC & CCAC.

In February 2020, I decided to take the plunge & work on my business full-time. It was absolutely one of the best decisions I have ever made

Unfortunately, in 2021, I lost my dad, and 7 months later, I lost my husband, Ryan, to a very fast and aggressive diagnosis of cancer. I share these losses because they forever changed me. This business is what kept me going through it all- and I am so grateful that God has continued to provide and show up in powerful ways. When I say I put my heart & soul into what I do, I truly mean it!

Find us at our shop, The Laurel Marketplace, in the heart of Downtown Greensburg, along with Out of the Fire Cafe, and local farmer’s markets and events!
